We have taken some time to create a curation of answers to the questions you may have about our services and our business. We do understand that trust can only be built when there is clarity, and we want you to trust us completely with your brand and your vision. Will My Website Be On Your Personal Hosting?

No, we do not want you to feel like your website is being held hostage and that’s why we have added a hosting cost to your quote. You will be given basic hosting and will have the opportunity to upgrade it at your own expense in order to accommodate your followers and customers. We will give you a temporary username and password once the website is completed, and you will be able to change that to what you would prefer.

What Platform Do You Use In Order To Create Your Websites?

We typically use WordPress as our base for every website. We do have experience with Wix and if you have a particular desire for a WIX website, we will be able to do that of you, however, our platform of choice is WordPress.

Do You Provide Graphic Designing?

At the moment, we do not, but we are looking to add this service to our business as time progresses.

Why Should We Use Your Company?

We want your business to stand against some of the biggest and even become that, and so being here to help you in the beginning stages is such a great passion and motivator of ours.

Do I Need To Have My Own Logo?

Yes, we will require you to have different forms of your logo including a favicon and a transparent version. This will be explained to you during the process in order to ensure a limitless designing process.

What Do I Do If I Do Not Have Pictures Of My Products?

If you do not have photos of your products, we will encourage you to set up a product photoshoot in order to have the content required for your website. If this cannot be done, we do offer this service for an additional fee. We will place your products that are 12×12 or less behind a lit white background and take portrait photos that will be made ready for your shop. We will not edit these photos, and so if you have specific photoshop requests, we ask that you get this service done with an actual photography company.

How Do I Know What Information Will Be Needed For My Website?

You are responsible for having a vision. Your vision will help you determine what pages will be required to make your website come to life. We will also discuss this during our meet and greet conference. If you need a bit more help with your content, check out our blog for tips!

What If I Do Not Want To Manage My Website? What Do I Do?

We have retainer packages by a 6-month contract or 12-month contract. With these contract, you will select the number of hours you would like for us to spend each month updating your website information. This does not include changing anything design-wise on your website. If you are interested in a re-design, you will be prompted to start our design process once again.

What Is Your Cancellation Policy?

This agreement shall begin when both the Designer and the Client sign the Project Proposal. The agreement shall continue until all services are complete and delivered, or until the agreement is terminated. Either the Designer or the Client may terminate this agreement at any time, on written notice to the other party, under the following conditions:

  • If a party breaches any of its material responsibilities and obligations under this agreement, including meeting all agreed upon project deadlines and client/designer deliverable responsibilities.
  • If a party ceases to conduct business in its normal course;
  • If a party makes an assignment for the benefit of creditors;
  • If a party is liquidated or otherwise dissolved;
  • If a party becomes insolvent;
  • If a party files a petition in bankruptcy and a receiver, trustee, or custodian is appointed for it; and
  • If a party commits any acts that is in violation of federal, state, or local laws.

In the event of termination, the Client shall pay Designer for the services performed through the date of termination in the amount of a prorated portion of the Designer fees due. Client shall pay all other expenses, fees, and additional costs incurred through the date of termination.

If this contract is terminated by the Client, GYIDI WEB DESIGN & CONSULTING, LLC is not responsible for the return of any down payments made by the Client. All booking deposits are final.

In the event of termination, the Client shall return all preliminary works and all designer tools to the Designer. Further, the Client will no longer have license to use any preliminary works and the designer tools.

What Is Your Refund Policy?

All deposits are nonrefundable as it secures your spot in our schedule. We book our projects months in advance in order to make sure that we have set aside an accurate amount of time for each project. Due to this, we either turn away clients or push back production, therefore, if you cancel, it will leave an empty slot in our schedule that could have been given to another client. Nonrefundable investments make sure that our clients are invested in bringing their projects to completion.

In the event of project termination, the Client shall pay Designer for the services performed through the date of termination in the amount of a prorated portion of the Designer fees due. Client shall pay all other expenses, fees, and additional costs incurred through the date of termination.

If I Want You To Take My Product Photos, What Would That Entail?

If you would like for us to take your product photos, the dimensions of your products can be no bigger than 12×12. You will be responsible for mailing these products to us as they will be returned to you upon completion of the project.

What Program Do You Use For Consultations & Teaching Sessions?

For all consultations and teaching sessions, we use Zoom.

Who Is Responsible For The Content Development Of My Website?

Gyidi Web Design & Consulting, LLC is not responsible for your content creation, unless otherwise specified. You are responsible for providing page titles and all site content (text, products, services, blog content, images) before each project is started. All images and content that is shared with our team with remain private in order to protect your business. Feel free to change your passwords before we start our work and after our work has been completed ignored to ensure additional security.

We do find stock photos and videos for you at an additional fee if you would like that service.
